If you have 85-plus pounds to lose, you may have a shot on an upcoming season of "The Biggest Loser."
Casting directors will be at the KSL 5 TV studios, 55 N. 300 West, Salt Lake City on Aug. 13, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
They are looking for outgoing individuals who have a great deal of weight to lose. Not only is the show a chance to lose the weight, but the winner will also walk away with a hefty cash prize of $250,000.
Last May, Deni Hill of Bountiful won the consolation prize of $100,000 for losing 125 pounds. Although she was eliminated during the season, the show also has a prize for the contestant who lost the highest percentage of weight at home. One tip she gave me: make a video of yourself, because the directors do look at them.
All applicants must be U.S. residents that are 18 years old or older. For more information, check http://www.thebiggestlosercasting.com/Biggest-Loser-Open-Casting-Calls.
