PARTY ON THE BOULEVARD IN LAYTON AUG. 24


Four locally owned and operated restaurants in Davis County will close down Heritage Park Boulevard in Layton for the fifth annual Party on the Boulevard. On August 24, at 5 p.m., musicians, local artists and farmers, children’s activities as well as a classic car show will pack the street for a free end of summer celebration.

Heritage Park Blvd. is just off of Layton's "Restaurant Row" north of Layton Hills Mall and near the Davis Conference Center. The party is from 5 p.m. until dusk
The event is organized by four restaurants, Roosters Brewing Company, Corbin’s Grille, MacCool’s Public House and Holy Smoke BBQ. Other participants include Taste of India, Kim Long Vietnamese, Doolie’s Wings, Bandidos Border Grill, Fahrenheit Lounge, Daily Rise and Cutler’s Cookies and Sandwiches. Each restaurant will sell special menu items along the street,. 
Local artists and talents will sell their wares from jewelry to yard art during the event. Shaky Trade will entertain the crowd with their funky, groovin’ sound. Restored classic cars will line the streets, and there will be presentations from Scales and Tails, face painting, a kid’s bounce house, rock wall and more. Layton Police Department will offer free I.D. kits for kids and Layton fire department will give complimentary tours of their fire bucket truck.
Party on the Boulevard sponsors include BioLife, Davis Hospital and Medical Center, Coca-Cola, Hometown Values Magazine, Zions Bank, Sysco and Hilton Garden Inn.
